Bangladeshi spin bowlers put their team just 3 wickets away from first test match victory.
As the 4th day started, the skipper with a 100 on board could not add much and got out early as Tim Southee picked his wicket. Mushfiqur also played his part as he played a responsible innings from the other end and made 67 runs. In the later part of Bengali batting it was Mehidy Hasan Mirza whose batting got the home team to 338 in the 2nd innings as he scored 50 runs and remained not out.
Later when New Zealand batters could not make any impact over home side bowlers. At the end of 4th day’s play they were 113/7 and still needed 219 runs to win with only 3 wickets in hand.
