PSL 9th Edition is just about to start from February 17th. Like its previous editions, this ninth edition also promises to be a excitement packed event as all the six teams along with all the cricketing fans all across the world get ready for the first match. PSL teams have completed their 20-members squads including foreign players, Pakistani players along with emerging players. Furthermore Players have been categorised into Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, Emerging and supplementary. In this 9th edition, teams are allowed to retain 8 players ahead of the PSL 2024 draft.
This year, all Pakistan Super League teams have worked on some very critical trades as Naseem Shah and Imad Wasim will now play from Islamabad United while Pakistan Test Captain, Shan Masood will lead Karachi Kings as a Captain while Muhammad Amir and Sharjeel Khan also moved from Karachi Kings.
PSL 9 will also welcome some new players like Reeza Hendricks, Reece Topley, Time Seifert and many more. PSL famous regular players like David Wiese, Alex Hales, Kieron Pollard and Colin Munro will also be again in action in PSL 9. Players list also includes inclusion of Pakistan’s young talent like Saad Baig, Muhammad Zeeshan, Hunain Shah and Ubaid Shah for the first time in PSL.
